The Springboks win their second World Cup
On 20 October 2007 at the Stade de France, the Springboks beat England 15–6 in a final without a try, on penalties from Percy Montgomery and Francois Steyn. England's best chance went when the TMO ruled that Mark Cueto's foot had touched the line as Danie Rossouw tackled him. John Smit lifted the cup twelve years after Francois Pienaar. Bryan Habana's eight tries in the tournament equalled Jonah Lomu's record.
