The Springboks win a fourth World Cup by a point
On 28 October 2023 the Springboks beat New Zealand 12–11 at the Stade de France to become the first team to win the Rugby World Cup four times. It was their third one-point win in a row, after France and England. Handré Pollard kicked all twelve points. Siya Kolisi, captaining for the second time in a final, lifted the cup he had lifted in Yokohama four years earlier.
