Daytime walking is straightforward, and Deer Park is well used by dog walkers and runners from first light. Theft from parked cars is the most common problem, helped by the shortage of off-street bays on the steep streets, so leave nothing in a car overnight. Housebreaking tends to target ground-floor flats without armed monitoring.
