Because physics meets audacity: 30–50-knot seabreezes, helicopter-high loops, stomped landings in foamy whitewater—and the whole drama framed by Table Mountain. It’s a beach-side festival where strangers become a chorus every time a rider launches into the sky.

🧭 How to do it

• Check the forecast the night before: Watch the event’s socials and site for the daily call. If it’s “go,” sleep early, pack sunscreen and water.
• Timing: Aim to arrive around midday; the wind typically peaks in the mid-afternoon.
• Where to stand: The core is Kite Beach, but walking along Marine Drive reveals wind-shadow pockets with great views.
• Seasonal wind: Cape Town’s summer wind is strongest Dec–Feb, with November often excellent—perfect for the window.
• Transport & parking: Get there early around Marine Drive/Blouberg; set your rideshare pickup a short walk from the main exits to avoid gridlock.

Safety: Respect athlete launch/landing zones, especially on high-wind days. No drones unless permitted.
